Privacy and accessibility

Your visit, in plain terms

You won’t find reader accounts, a comment thread, a newsletter or advertising pixels on Animal Mind Notes. We serve our fonts and images from our own server. Our hosting service processes the ordinary data that comes with any web request so the site can run. That includes IP address, the page requested and browser details. Links out to journals and research groups lead to sites that follow their own privacy practices.

Access for every reader

Headings describe what each section covers, so a long study explainer is easy to scan. Navigation is labeled, and keyboard focus is visible as you move through a page. Images carry text descriptions. On small screens the menu sits behind a button, and browser text zoom works for anyone who prefers larger type.
